Kohlrabi translates from German to ‘Cabbage Turnip’. It’s often called the German turnip.
It can be eaten raw (often simply cut into batons or grated) or cooked. You can also eat both the stem and the leaves like broccoli. Like broccoli it will sometimes simply be supplied as the stem/bulb.
A great addition to ‘slaw dishes! This Kohlrabi is purple!
